Partner Schools

1. LICEO CLASSICO STATALE  "DANTE ALIGHIERI" –RAVENNA  (ITALY)

  The Liceo Classico ''D. Alighieri'' is the oldest school (it was founded over 300 years ago) in  Ravenna,  Unesco World Heritage. There are four courses (Classical and Linguistic students, Human and Social Sciences studies). It has a long tradition of severe studies  with a strong accent on a multicultural approach, with no limits to the individual  philosophical research and a special attention to the full participation and equality for women. Students (1400) are involved in many activities, in and out the school,  cooperating with NGOs and public authorities.

The 125 teachers and 25 members of the administrative and technical staff are a community with one goal: improving the high quality of education. Most of them partcipated in courses in Italy and Europe (especially for clil, non formal learning, creative thinking, EVS, empathy, ICT...) and possess certifications of high competences (TKT Clil, CAE for English, ECDL for Microsoft or Apple certifications...).

2. AOC DE GROENE WELLE - ZWOLLE (NETHERLANDS) 

  The 125 teachers and 25 members of the administrative and technical staff are a community with one goal: improving the high quality of education. Most of them partcipated in courses in Italy and Europe (especially for clil, non formal learning, creative thinking, EVS, empathy, ICT...) and possess certifications of high competences (TKT Clil, CAE for English, ECDL for Microsoft or Apple certifications...).

GroeneWelle is a regional and international agricultural training centre (AOC) located in Zwolle  and in Hardenberg, with approximately 1.500 full-time students, 200 apprentices and 1.600   participants in the course education for adults. Staff: 120 FTE (full-time employments).  

   The AOC offers three types of education:

   1. Preparatory secondary vocational education (12-16 years)

   2. Secondary Vocational Education (16 years and older)

   3. Part-time Adult Education (Lifelong Learning)

 Education is offered competence based and is increasingly internationally oriented. The education  is professionally oriented and therefore contains many practical parts. The education is partly  school based and partly work based. GoeneWelle ecourages international mobility of students and   trainers, which is an integral part of the Strategic Plan of the AOC organization.  Underlying this strategic policy, the AOC developed a detailed policy document about internationalization, development and internationalization of activities. In the last 10 years GroeneWelle has built up several European networks of partner schools with accredited training companies. GroeneWelle is co-founder of several international networks for partner schools in a specific theme i.e. EVANET, TAGnet, IFM and FLORNET.

3. SIAULIU LIEPORIU GIMNAZIJA – SIAULIU (LITHUANIA)

 Siauliu Lieporiu Gimnazium is a high school in the north of Lithuania. School philosophy is ‘’The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams’’ (E. Roosevelt). It is the school which has achieved good results in educating students as they show good results in exams. Also, they have a good opportunity to choose from different extra-curricular activities. Our school has long existing btraditions. Students and teachers organize different events which make pupils’ life interesting and give a chance to develop their creativity and possibility to express themselves. We have a ‘’General Competence School’’ in which socially insecure students, and those with learning difficulties and other willing to gain self confidence are given the opportunity to improve their skills and develop essential competence. We have been participating in different Comenius projects since 2000 and have learned a lot through the international cooperation.

4. 4^th  GENIKO LYKEIO KALAMATAS – KALAMATA (GREECE)
 The 4^th Senior High School of Kalamata (4^th Geniko Lykeio Kalamatas) is an upper secondary state school of general and comprehensive education. It is situated in the urban area of Kalamata and hosts about 380 pupils and 40 teachers. The main foreign language which is included in the school’s curriculum is English and the second one is German. Every year students participate in various competetions on different subjects, such as maths, physics, chemistry, biology and literature, and they attain excellent results. The school attendance lasts three years. At the end of the third year, students take part in the so called Pan-hellenic exams (general exams held all over Greece), in order to be admitted into universities
